SLUNCHEV BRYAG [SUNNY BEACH]is among the most prestigious Bulgarian Black Sea resorts, famous far beyond the country’s frontiers. Scenically located along the coast, it is 6 km north of Nessebur.
The spacious beach, more than 6 km long and up to 150 m wide, the fine golden sands, the picturesque dunes, the decline of the sea bottom and the clement climate make it a suitable and desirable place for holiday making. A great number of hotels, villas, holiday houses and bungalows have been built amidst parks and gardens. The village of SVETI VLAS is a rapidly developing resort settlement, 4 km away from Elenite and 13 km from Nessebur. During the Middle Ages the Monastery of St Vlas had functioned here, connected to Nessebur.

The Aladzha rock Monasteryis located 4 km northwest of Zlatni Pyassatsi.
